Paul Atkinson

CEO

Paul leads the overall management and leadership of Casero. An Internet Protocol industry veteran, he has proven experience in marketing and sales expertise in high-growth environments. Most recently, Paul was Senior Vice President, Marketing at Amdocs, responsible for its global marketing activities. Paul also served as CEO of Solect Technology Group, acquired by Amdocs for US $1.2 billion in March 2000. He was also President and Co-founder of Southwest Sun, a Sun Microsystems independent sales organization.

Paul is also the Co-Founder of AudienceView Software Corporation, a Toronto-based software company that provides software to sports and entertainment organizations for their customer relationship management and ticketing operations.

Paul serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Enterprise Education, the Toronto International Film Festival Group and Variety - The Children's Charity. Paul is active in the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and is on the Advisory Boards of the Richard Ivey School of Business and EMAGINE, an initiative of the Emagine program at the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Kevin Kimsa

President and COO

Kevin is Founder, President and COO of Casero. Prior to Casero, Kevin held the position of President & COO of Solect Technology Group, an IP Billing company he co-founded in 1993. Solect was sold to Amdocs in April, 2000 for $1.2Billion. Kevin served as SVP IP Business Development at Amdocs until 2002.

Kevin is also the co-Founder and a Board Member of AudienceView Software, a Ticketing and CRM services company whose white-labeled, SAAS modeled solution is marketed to arts, entertainment and/or sport organizations. In addition to AudienceView, Kevin also has seats on the Boards of Casero, Ticket-Text (UK), Toronto East General Hospital, and the advisory board for Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology, University of Waterloo.

Kevin was a 2002 recipient of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, where he majored in Computer Science and Statistics.


Rob crocker

Chief Finanical Officer

Rob is responsible for Casero’s finance, accounting and administrative functions.  Rob has more than 15 years of senior management experience working with growing companies in the information, communication and entertainment industries.  Rob’s operational experience includes previous CFO positions with VFM Interactive Inc., an on-line distributor of rich media for the travel industry; Truestar Health Inc., an internet based health and wellness company; and P.S. Production Services Ltd., a film and television production equipment rental company.  Rob balances this operational experience with private equity experience having spent three years with Clairvest Group Inc., a publicly traded merchant bank that invests in entrepreneurial growth companies.  Prior to Clairvest, Rob was a Senior Manager at KPMG, where he was responsible for a portfolio of private and public companies, primarily in the communication and entertainment industries.  Rob has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Accountant.

JaY DEEN

Vice President Technology

Jay is responsible for ensuring that Casero’s product offerings are innovative and easily adopted to best suit the needs of Casero customers.  His 15 years of experience in software development evolved early at the age of 13, when he began selling communications software to regional software providers.  Jay started his professional development career in Quality Assurance and Development at Delrina, an innovative forms and fax software provider where he helped port software from the Windows 3.1 to Windows 95. Following Delrina, Jay helped build leading Internet communications software at Symantec in their telecommunication division and then continued on to Jetform to create internet enabled forms based applications, which were later acquired by Adobe.    Jay moved on to Solect Technology Group, where he worked with both  Paul and Kevin, helping pioneer IP based billing and mediation software.  After Amdocs acquired Solect, Jay worked as a principal software architect on Amdocs’ Internet Administration Framework.  Jay specialized in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.

Doug Pratt

Vice President Customer Service

Doug is responsible for customer services and product marketing. Doug has more than 15 years of senior wireless engineering and management experience from positions within companies such as Vodafone, AirTouch, AT &T and Philips and Visto Corporation. Doug was formerly Chief Technology Officer of Connex GSM in Romania and most recently Senior VP of Operations for Visto. Over a seven year period, he also held senior positions in Japan, Portugal and the USA while working for Airtouch International. Mr. Pratt earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of St Andrews.


DENIS MARTINEAU

Vice President Sales and Marketing

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Denis is responsible for the development, implementation and management of all strategic sales and marketing functions. He joined Casero with over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Denis’ career has focused on emerging technology sectors. Through his experience as Senior Vice President at Emerging Information Systems, Inc., Denis grew annual sales by more than 300% in 6 years through aggressive marketing and sales initiatives, and the Financial Planning Software maker grew to be the largest vendor in it’s space. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development with Janna Systems, Inc., sales revenues increased over 800% in 3 years, and the CRM developer was acquired by Siebel Systems. Denis has achieved such success by refocusing marketing and sales strategies, building a strong sales force and directing business development teams.

At Bell Mobility from 1993 to 1997, Denis’ team was responsible for bundling Value Added content across cellular, packet data, paging and satellite networks.   At Ericsson Canada for 4 years, he managed the sales and marketing for the first public wireless packet data network outside of Scandinavia; Mobitex.  Denis holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
